Brad Bigham

Consultant/Police Traffic Investigator

Brad graduated from Southeast Oklahoma State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree.  Since 2005, he has been a full-time police officer for the Sherman Police Department.  He is a crash reconstructionist, with specialized training in motorcycle accident reconstruction, advanced collision reconstruction, event data recorder retrieval/analysis, commercial motor vehicle forensic examination and air brake analysis, and motor vehicle versus pedestrian/bicycle accident reconstruction.  He is also trained and well-versed in total station mapping.  Since 2007, Brad has been a member of the Sherman PD Critical Accident Investigation Team (CAIT), with the responsibilities of responding to and investigating fatal and serious bodily injury collisions.  As part of the CAIT, he is responsible for scene analysis, forensic mapping, vehicle inspections, interviewing/interrogating witness, suspects, and/or victims, collecting evidence, crash data retrieval and analysis of air bag module data, analyzing forensic maps using computer software, preparing criminal cases for prosecution, and courtroom testimony.  Brad is a federally licensed remote (drone) pilot, with extensive experience in drone operations and drone mapping.  Brad utilizes Pix4D software to create visually stunning videos and scene fly-throughs.  Brad is a member of the Texas Association of Accident Reconstructionists (TAARS),  the International Network of Collision Reconstructionists (INCR), the Crash Data Retrieval Tool Users Group, the Texas Municipal Police Officers Association,  and the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Professionals (NAPARS).
